Our trainees will be equipped to address key problems in clinical practice, science, and medical education both domestically and abroad. Our faculty provide the experience and expertise in infectious diseases of two major teaching hospitals at Harvard Medical School.
The MGH/BWH Fellowship Program is committed to supporting the COVID19 response along with ensuring the health and well-being of the trainees. Our fellows have been engaged in the response, caring for patients with COVID19, providing support in infection control and biothreats efforts, engaging in research efforts, and supporting the local community.
Check out some COVID-19 educational talks organized by two of our recently-graduated fellows:

We are excited for the 2020-21 recruitment season and encourage those interested in our program to apply. In concordance with the IDSA Program Director’s Committee recommendation, we are planning on virtual interviews this year. We understand that COVID-19 may have impacted the residency experiences of many applicants and that you may not have had the chance to participate in planned activities such as electives or research. Rest assured that we will take a holistic approach to the review of your application materials. Further details regarding logistics will be provided to applicants who are selected for interview. Thank you for your interest in our program!
