Bisola Ojikutu MD, MPH To Become Executive Director Of The Boston Public Health Commission

Bisola Ojikutu MD, MPH will become the next Executive Director of the Boston Public Health Commission on September 1st. In this role, Bisola will bring to bear her deep expertise in clinical medicine, public health, and collaborative engagement of marginalized communities to achieve health for all Bostonians and greater health equity among vulnerable populations. No doubt, her efforts to overcome racial and ethnic disparities in access to HIV prevention and treatment and her recent work on improving access to COVID19 vaccines will be further amplified. We very much hope Bisola will call upon us to support her in any way we can as she leads the BPHC. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Bisola in the past on global health work and will just say that Boston’s health equity couldn’t be in better hands. Bisola will remain part of MGB and specifically will continue in her clinical role in the MGH ID division. I think I can speak for us all in saying we are extremely grateful to continue to have her in our division.
